Material Handling Industry of America
(MHIA) is an international non-profit trade association that has represented the material handling & logistics industry since 1945 – the industry that makes the supply chain work. Member companies come from the warehouse racking industry and all other areas of material handling and various parts of the world, making MHIA a strong national and international representative for the material handling industry. MHIA’s mission is to create a greater understanding between business and Industry of the solutions offered through material handling & logistics.
Standards-Related Information
Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) is an ANSI accredited standards developer and manages the activities of many national and international standards committees. MHIA serves as the Secretariat for the US Technical Advisory Group (USTAG) for the ISO Technical Committees TC51, TC104 and TC122.
