Many textile warehouse racking applications require warehouse rack beds with a solid decking. Storage of varying sizes of rolls or cartons often requires solid decking to prevent smaller loads from falling through. Engineered Products solid deck warehouse rack and decked bed racks are specially designed to provide a flush surface to prevent snags-thus reducing product damage. The supporting runners are recessed to accommodate the thickness of the decking, whether steel, hardboard, or particle board.
These support runners are welded into the bed section, providing maximum rigidity and strength. The bed section itself is then bolted, rather than clipped, to the uprights for further security. Heavy gauge steel is used in both bed sections and uprights to minimize fork lift impact damage.
